Virtual production

EZtrack® is our latest camera tracking system; an innovative combination of Valve's SteamVR™ 2.0 technology and SolidAnim's proven tools for Virtual Production.

The system is based on a compact and transportable central unit, operated by an 100% Web-based intuitive interface. The solution offers precise tracking, image synchronization, zoom/focus data processing, communication with real-time 3D rendering engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity and Zero Density, as well as multi-axis support.

Its applications meet all virtual production needs from today:
-Virtual studio setup for live-to-air shows and augmented reality (AR) shows
- Camera tracking: fixed and portable cameras, trolleys, small cranes, dollies

Combining EZtrack®, our latest proprietary camera tracking technology with a full range of dedicated services, our Virtual Production department will provide you with tailor-made support for every kind of project, regardless of its size or complexity: creation of 3D content (virtual sets, animated characters, computer graphics), consultancy for building-up a custom virtual studio configuration from scratch or on-demand camera tracking.

Mastering our own “hybrid” toolchain for Virtual Production which does combine live shots with realtime 3D inlays in full Augmented Reality (AR), our team also delivers seamless service delivery for OnSet operations:

> ON-SET PREVIS FOR CINEMA AND THE MOVIE INDUSTRY
We use the tracking data generated by EZtrack® to provide on Director’s monitor a composite image with realtime 3D props, environments, and assets in rough level of details. Hence, these augmented sequences will need post-production work (lighting, clipping, tracking, VFX), yet efforts will remain limited thanks to the virtual assets our team would have created in the first place, at time of the preproduction stage.

> 3D CREATION & COMPOSITING FOR LIVE-TO-AIR SHOWS
Our inhouse artistic department can deliver “final” composited frames, being camera tracked while integrating realtime 3D content in AR at the same time: virtual sets, animated characters or even computer graphics, ready to be live broadcasted for TV, entertainment and live-to-air shows.
